Description

• Xometry’s digital marketplace connects ideas and manufacturers. • Responsible for writing copy that improves users’ experience. • Lead content design strategies within a cross-functional team. • Plan and write strong, succinct copy for various platforms. • Uphold and improve the Unified Copy Style Guide. • Ensure consistency and quality of language across the platform. • Help improve writing of other team members. • Participate in strategic planning and OKR creation. • Lead copy testing, content audits, and competitive analysis. • Use research and user feedback to improve copy.

Requirements

• You have at least 3-5 years of experience as a Content Designer or UX Writer. • You have a strong understanding of UX principles and best practices. • You have worked on cross-functional teams alongside designers and/or other writers. • You have experience as the lead writer of a team. • You have experience building relationships and advocating for good copy. • You have a strong eye for detail. • You are able to simply explain complex features, products, and ideas. • You are comfortable providing and receiving feedback in a group setting. • You are able to clearly articulate your copy decisions. • You are able to prioritize and manage your own work.
