📋 Description

• YipitData is a leading market research and analytics firm and recently raised up to $475M from The Carlyle Group at a valuation over $1B.\n• We analyze billions of data points every day to provide accurate, detailed insights for retailers and brands.\n• We cultivate a people-centric culture focused on mastery, ownership, and transparency.\n• We are looking for a Director of Client Strategy to join our growing Retail and Brands business.\n• In this role, you will become an expert in understanding our clients' business challenges and ensuring we drive adoption and value.\n• This role will include supporting clients in partnership with an Account Executive (AE), Client Strategy Manager (CSM) and Solutions partners.\n• However, depending upon where the remote work is performed, income could be subject to New York State tax withholding.\n• Please note that we pay NYC-based salaries for US roles regardless of where employees choose to work.\n• As a Director of Client Strategy at YipitData, you will lead and develop a team of Client Strategy Managers (CSMs), helping to set and execute plans to achieve retention and revenue goals.\n• Lead the team responsible for driving successful renewal processes and outcomes: ensuring value and adoption to drive high retention and long-term client partnerships.\n• Support AE team to drive upsell opportunities by identifying additional client needs and expanding product adoption.

🎯 Requirements

• You have 5+ years of leadership experience in Customer Success or Account Management roles\n• You have 6+ years of experience in gross retention focused roles\n• Skilled in client relationship management, with a track record of driving value and successful renewals, leading to expansion.\n• Adept at identifying risks early to mitigating churn risk, and scaling this across a broader book of business and team\n• Adept at navigating complex organizations to uncover new revenue opportunities.\n• A strategic thinker who can translate data insights into actionable plans.\n• You have experience managing the holistic life cycle of a client relationship from onboarding, quarterly business reviews, renewal, and upsells\n• You have experience working with large enterprises and liaising with senior executives across several business functions such as strategy, sales, marketing, and data/insights.\n• You have a track record of not only meeting but exceeding gross retention targets\n• You are a team player and are motivated by the company’s success, not just your own\n• You have an entrepreneurial spirit and are excited to help build a newer business from the ground up\n• You love solving ambiguous problems and are willing to persevere through the highs and lows
