Description
• Manage the achievement of annual revenue and profit goals for sales in a specific geographic area • Ensure recruitment, training, motivation and career development of Sales Representatives and Application personnel • Communicate corporate goals, strategies, and tactics to Field Sales • Recommend marketing strategies, budget considerations, pricing policies, promotional programs and territory configurations • Responsible for leadership and management of Sales and Applications in the assigned Region • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the assigned region, aligned with company objectives • Attain or exceed annual revenue and profit goals while managing within a specific expense budget • Provide constructive feedback and personal views on time and when appropriate • Manage area inventory and receivables to meet annual guidelines • Prioritize customer satisfaction and assist in the assessment and development of senior sales representatives
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Science or equivalent • MBA is an asset • Minimum six (6) years of experience as a Senior Regional Sales Manager • Experience in medical device or ophthalmology preferred • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills • A proven track record of recruiting and building an A class team • Strong Sales, business and profit oriented, proactive thinking • The proven builder of business in a highly competitive environment with customer relations emphasis • Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications especially Excel • Exceptional negotiating and diplomacy skills • Excellent team building, teaching and motivation skills required • Bilingual English French • Requires clean DMV record and current valid driver’s license
