Description

• Manage the accounts payable function and ensure accurate and timely processing of bills and payments • Create and own the Accounts Payables function (“AP”) at Zeitview and report to Senior Accounting Manager • Implement new processes and process improvements in AP, employee travel, and expense reporting • Maintain vendor relationships and oversee a team of AP professionals • Build and oversee the Payables, T&E, and expense reporting function • Develop scalable processes and policies to support department goals and key metrics • Analyze and assess AP workflows, transactions, processes, and reports • Create and implement vendor onboarding and vetting processes • Maintain and improve the travel and procurement platform Navan • Cultivate and maintain a “bird’s eye view” of company expenses • Own and optimize the annual 1099 reporting of vendor payments • Monitor all AP emails and ensure timely processing • Provide Accounting support for prepaid and fixed asset schedules • Support Accounting in month-end closing procedures • Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships and ensure compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA a plus • Experience managing outsourced accounting staff in different time zones • Several years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role • Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable best practices • Experience with accounts payable software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and T&E software (e.g., Navan, Concur, Ramp) • Strong ability to work collaboratively and overcommunicate with colleagues at all levels of the company • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively • Certifications viewed favorably: Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) • Certified Management Accountant (CMA) • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
