📋 Description
• The Director of Community Outreach and Engagement will play a crucial role in ZERO's health equity project “Blitz the Barriers”, focusing on reducing prostate cancer disparities in underserved communities. • This position will lead strategic community engagement initiatives, oversee outreach programs, and foster partnerships to enhance prostate cancer awareness, screening, and support services in target communities.
🎯 Requirements
• Master's degree in Public Health, Community Development, Social Work, or related field. • 7+ years of experience in community engagement, public health outreach, or related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. • Demonstrated experience working with diverse, underserved communities and addressing health disparities. • Strong understanding of health equity principles and social determinants of health. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. • Proven ability to build and maintain partnerships with various stakeholders. • Experience in program development, implementation, and evaluation. • Proficiency in project management and data analysis. • Passion for ZERO's mission and commitment to reducing prostate cancer disparities.
