Description

• Oversee all aspects of the corporate accounting function, ensuring accuracy and driving efficiency. • Lead development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP. • Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring integrity of the general ledger. • Collaborate with finance, tax, legal, payroll, HR, and external auditors for financial insights. • Enhance efficiency and accuracy of financial operations through improvements and automation. • Supervise financial statement preparation and review, ensuring adherence to internal controls. • Manage annual external audit process for timeliness and accuracy of financial statements. • Direct corporate accounting team, fostering collaboration and professional development. • Develop accounting policies and controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance. • Optimize financial systems and ERP platforms for efficiency and scalability. • Establish procurement policies to optimize spending and enhance procurement strategy. • Analyze financial performance metrics and recommend improvements to senior management. • Ensure compliance with changes in accounting standards affecting the fintech industry. • Implement cost control strategies to support financial objectives. • Ensure accurate processing of accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax filings. • Evaluate and manage financial risks and opportunities, providing strategic guidance. • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred. A Master’s degree in accounting is a plus. • Minimum of 10 years in corporate accounting or financial reporting, ideally within fintech or SaaS industries. • Proven experience in managing and developing accounting professionals. • Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls, with experience in ERP systems (preferably NetSuite). • Excellent problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail and financial analysis expertise. • Effective collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to senior leadership. • Familiarity with international accounting standards and multi-currency environments is advantageous.
