Description
• Managing procurement activities and vendor relationships • Overseeing procurement processes and providing leadership to the team • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement objectives are met efficiently and effectively • This role is fully remote within Canada and the US.
Requirements
• 7+ years of experience in procurement, vendor management, or a related field within a SaaS, technology, or start-up environment • At least 2-3 years of experience leading or managing a procurement team • Proven track record in developing and executing long-term procurement strategies. • Experience with software rationalization and technology procurement is highly preferred. • Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated experience managing contracts and vendor performance with a high level of accuracy. • Demonstrated expertise in building and optimizing procurement processes, with a focus on SaaS and technology-related procurement. • Strong negotiation and collaboration skills, with the ability to drive consensus and achieve favorable outcomes in vendor relationships. • Proficient in procurement software and tools, with an ability to leverage technology to enhance efficiency and decision-making. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
