• Collaborate with Innovative 3Mers Around the World • Driving profitable sales for the C&I business in the assigned territory. • Developing, Implementing, and Executing effective territory business plans. • Prioritizing your end customers, markets, and distributors to drive effective territory management. • Implementing promotions, and directives as set by division management. • Collaborating across other C&I territories and within other 3M Divisions to meet customer needs. • This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) and a minimum of four (4) years of work experience in the electrical, construction and/or safety industry in a private, public, government or military environment OR • High School Diploma/GED or higher from an accredited institution and a minimum of eight (8) years of work experience in the electrical, construction and/or safety industry in a private, public, government or military environment AND • Current, valid Driver’s License • MBA is preferred. • Sales experience in the Electrical Construction and Electrical Industrial Markets • Aptitude to understand and train customers on multiple product lines and applications. • Field/Channel sales experience • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to all levels. • Ability to qualify and prioritize sales opportunities within their assigned territory. • Experience working in a matrix environment or large complex organization. • Strong negotiation and relationship building skills. • Strong computer skills, Database management: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Salesforce.com
