• Driving profitable sales for the C&I business in the assigned territory • Developing, Implementing, and Executing effective territory business plans • Prioritizing your end customers, markets, and distributors to drive effective territory management • Implementing promotions, and directives as set by division management • Collaborating across other C&I territories and within other 3M Divisions to meet customer needs • This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position
• Bachelor’s degree or higher and five years of sales experience in a private, public, government or military environment • Or High School diploma/GED or higher and ten years of sales experience in a private, public, government or military environment • Current, valid Driver’s License • MBA is preferred • Sales experience in the Electrical Construction and Electrical Industrial Markets • Aptitude to understand and train customers on multiple product lines and applications • Field/Channel sales experience • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to all levels • Ability to qualify and prioritize sales opportunities within their assigned territory • Experience working in a matrix environment or large complex organization • Strong negotiation and relationship building skills • Strong computer skills, Database management: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Salesforce.com
