Description

• As a Fall Protection Sales Specialist for the Personal Safety Division, you will achieve sales and margin targets quarterly. • Identify and win opportunities under sales plan. • Work with end customers to advise and promote 3M Fall Protection Solutions. • Manage the sales pipeline with the Distributor network through effective relationships. • Develop 3M brand loyalty across end customers and Distributors. • Ensure accurate communication of product updates and development. • Collaborate with 3M technical teams to ensure high level of on-site support. • Identify and share leads with 3M colleagues for products outside core specialism. • Develop and maintain market, industry and product knowledge. • Collect and disseminate market trends and competitor activity. • Maintain accurate data within a CRM system. • Ensure all administration/planning is accurate and completed on time.

Requirements

• Good standard of education • Strong knowledge of the Fall Protection market is essential • Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization both externally and internally • A self-starter with the ability to work on your own and as part of a team • Strong negotiation skills • Numerate and proficient with analysis and manipulation of data. • Proficient in use of IT tools, Excel, Word, Powerpoint. • Strong communication and presentation skills - written and verbal. • Competitive & Proactive instinct - takes initiative on issues and challenges to find optimum solutions. • Tenacious, resilient - ability to navigate through conflict and challenges towards positive outcome, retaining focus and perspective. • Able to build excellent customer relationships • Self-motivated & extremely driven • Have a passion for sales and exceeding targets. • Basic knowledge of the related EN standards would be preferable • A knowledge of Horizontal Systems Fall Protection training
