OnBuy are an online marketplace who are on a mission of being the best choice for every customer, everywhere. β€’ We have recently been named one of the UK's fastest-growing tech companies in Deloitte's Technology Fast 50. β€’ Working at OnBuy requires taking charge and fully owning your responsibilities, rolling up your sleeves when needed. β€’ Your primary responsibility will be to lead the sales team in meeting seller acquisition and sales revenue targets. β€’ Create and manage the sales pipeline, use technology to optimise sales processes and leverage data to drive informed decision-making. β€’ Lead and manage a team of sales executives to achieve targets with strategic planning and performance monitoring. β€’ Establish lead generation channels to connect with potential leads and create opportunities. β€’ Drive automation tools and AI tools to leverage mass lead generation opportunities. β€’ Create and manage a comprehensive sales pipeline, tracking progress towards revenue targets. β€’ Implement automated systems and tools to streamline the appointment booking process. β€’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives. β€’ Prepare regular sales reports, providing accurate information on sales activities and revenue projections. β€’ Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities. β€’ Provide guidance and mentorship to sales representatives to help them excel in their roles.

Requirements

β€’ Proven experience as a Sales Manager, selling to retailers/e-tailers/B2B (preferably within the e-commerce or online marketplace industry). β€’ Strong proficiency in utilising LinkedIn for lead generation, networking, and building professional relationships. β€’ Demonstrated success in developing and managing sales pipelines, consistently achieving or exceeding revenue targets. β€’ Proficient in using Salesforce, sales automation tools, and appointment scheduling software. β€’ Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to drive informed decision-making and optimise sales strategies. β€’ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills β€’ Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong drive to succeed in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. β€’ Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and motivate others towards achieving common goals. β€’ Proven experience in recruiting, leading, and managing high-performing sales teams to achieve business growth and exceed targets. β€’ Knowledge of e-commerce trends, online marketplaces, and a deep understanding of customer needs and preferences.
