• As an EMD Sales Professional, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. • Driving profitable sales for the EMD business in the assigned territory of Ontario • Developing, implementing, and executing effective territory business plans • Prioritizing your end customers, markets, and distributors to drive effective territory management. • Implementing promotions, and directives as set by division management • Collaborating across other territories and within other 3M Divisions to meet customer needs. • Serving as a knowledge broker through delivering training and education to ensure customers and end users maximize product effectiveness.

Requirements

• Post secondary education (College or Bachelor’s degree) from an accredited institution • Three (3) years of direct sales AND/OR electrical construction/industrial experience in a private, public, government or military environment • Current, valid driver’s license is required. • Sales experience in the Electrical Construction and Electrical Industrial Markets • Aptitude to understand and train customers on multiple product lines and applications • Field/Channel sales experience • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to all levels • Ability to qualify and prioritize sales opportunities within their assigned territory • Experience working in a matrix environment or large complex organization • Strong negotiation and relationship building skills • Effective pipeline management • Strong computer skills, database management: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Salesforce.com
