Description
• Direct a team to manage rebate forecasting, Market Access analytics, and commercialization strategy for Abbott Diabetes Care. • Lead a team that develops world-class forecasting infrastructure, work cross-functionally with Finance on LBE processes. • Develop forecast KPIs, support pre-deal bid planning, and manage post-deal analytics. • Identify risks and opportunities related to access in government, national, and regional payers. • Set Market Access commercialization strategies for ADC’s pipeline of new products.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience, MBA or advanced degree preferred. • Minimum of 10 years of functional experience in forecasting, with 5 years minimum leading direct reports. • Minimum of 5 years experience in market access analytics and pharmaceutical industry economics. • Strong understanding of PBM and pharmacy drug channel negotiations. • Experience in diabetes management including pharmaceutical products or devices used in the management of diabetes. • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurer reimbursement methodology and understanding of healthcare benefits (deductible, out of pocket, benefit exclusions, etc.). • Experience working cross functionally with legal, compliance, R&D, clinical and other partners in the development of coverage policy. • Demonstrated ability to understand and defend operational changes within the department using budgetary, ROI and KPI logic.
