Description

• Join ABBYY and be part of a team that celebrates your unique work style. • The Information Security Policy / Technical Writer will be responsible for creating, revising, and maintaining comprehensive security policies and technical documentation. • Policy Development: Collaborate with the Information Security team to create and update security policies, procedures, and guidelines. • Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain user manuals, technical specifications, and training materials for security tools and processes. • Research: Stay informed about the latest information security trends, threats, and regulations. • Review and Edit: Review existing documentation for accuracy and completeness; edit documents to ensure clarity and adherence to company standards. • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure alignment of policies with business objectives. • Training Support: Assist in the development and delivery of training materials for staff regarding security policies and best practices. • Documentation Management: Maintain an organized repository for security documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Technical Communication, or a related field. • Proven experience in technical writing, preferably in the field of information security or IT. • Strong understanding of information security concepts, standards, and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR). • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences. • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills. • Proficiency in documentation tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Confluence, MadCap Flare, etc.). • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. • Certifications related to information security (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Security+) - preferred • Experience with creating infographics or visual aids to enhance documentation - preferred
