📋 Description

• When you join Accurate Background, you’re an integral part of making every hire the start of a success story. Your contributions will help us fulfill our mission of advancing the background screening experience through visibility and insights, empowering our clients to make smarter, unbiased decisions. • The Director of Compliance will have a strategic role in managing and optimizing compliance-related processes to support Accurate and Accurate's customers. They will ensure compliance with the FCRA, internal policies and procedures, and applicable state and local laws. This leader will also oversee a team of professionals in tracking the changing laws, creating communication to customers, and other compliance operations functions, driving performance, fostering collaboration, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years’ experience in background screening industry required • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent background screening industry experience desired. Emphasis on law or compliance administration is preferred. • In-depth knowledge of Compliance, FCRA and state background screening related laws required, including but not limited to, adverse action, dispute requirements, CRA and End User requirements • Prior supervisory and leadership experience required • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task each day to meet schedule demands and complete tasks in a timely manner • Effective communication and presentation, including conflict resolution • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. • Effectively troubleshoot and problem solve • Ability to learn quickly and retain knowledge • Ability to work independently and accomplish tasks without direct supervision • Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines • Basic computer skills, including working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Salesforce)
