• Acentra Health empowers better health outcomes through technology, services, and clinical expertise. • Lead the Way is our rallying cry at Acentra Health. • Join our growing team as a Senior Project Manager. • Manage the end-to-end process for software products and business process services. • Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget. • May require up to 25% travel. • Oversee one or more software products end-to-end. • Provide technical advice and resolve problems. • Manage project risk using EVM and other tools. • Implement, maintain, and report project metrics into project plans. • Assist in monitoring and developing a project budget. • Analyze issues and problems from the customer perspective. • Communicate and provide status to define project schedules.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree with 7+ years relevant experience in project planning, delivery, and management • Experience as a people manager • Experience in the government or commercial healthcare industry • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification • Understanding of SharePoint applications, Webex, Skype, etc. • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio with a working knowledge of the rest of the Microsoft Office suite of applications • Domain knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, or healthcare verticals • General understanding of role-relevant issues and trends • Ability to manage people, projects, and processes • Strong understanding of project management skills and ability to create and manage project plans • Ability to meet and enforce deadlines, conduct research into technology issues and products, and take initiative in development and completion of projects • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and evaluative skills • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, facilitation) with strong presentation and facilitation skills • Strong at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment • Self-motivated, with ability to balance multiple projects under minimal to no supervision • Strong presentation skills • Strong people management skills • Demonstrates leadership skills and ability to work effectively with different teams and contributors both directly and in a matrix environment
