📋 Description
• Lead the company’s solutioning and responses to requests for proposal from the customer • Manage the proposal team from bid decision through award and hand off to the program manager • Configuration control, compliance manager, and publisher for all proposal documents • Create and execute a proposal management plan • Lead color team reviews (Black Hat, Blue Team, Pink/Red/Gold Reviews) • Facilitate Green Team reviews with the pricing team • Lead solutioning sessions; identify customer priorities and win themes • Manage all meetings as part of the proposal process • Manage communication with entire proposal and technical team • Ensure all proposals and meetings are brand compliant
🎯 Requirements
• At least five years of experience leading proposal responses for Federal Proposals • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong supervisory and leadership skills • Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices for proposal management and development • Proven experience developing high scoring, compliant proposals • Deep understanding of Shipley Business Development Process • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Strong analytical, problem-solving and time management skills • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite to include creating style guides that facilitate ease of proposal development • Ability to prioritize tasks to ensure complete mission success • Assocation of Proposal Management Professional (aPMP) certified (Preferred) • Extensive experience in organizational communications as a leader (Preferred) • Substantial leadership experience through military service or corporate leadership (Preferred) • Worked within an ISO 9001:2015 environment (Preferred) • Application of the Shipley method of proposal management or analogous approach (Preferred)
