Description

• Acorns is seeking an exceptional Finance Analyst to support cross-functional initiatives including management reporting, data and model refinement, plan vs. actual analyses, strategic initiatives, and short-term and long-term forecasting. • This person will provide tactical and strategic insights and analysis to drive business decisions. • This role will work directly with the Finance Manager as well as teams throughout the organization. • We are looking for a passionate and motivated individual with a strong sense of ownership that will add tremendous value to the company.

Requirements

• Minimum two (2) years of relevant experience with a stronger weighting towards corporate finance roles within a dynamic operating company • Bachelors in Finance or Accounting or equivalent discipline • Experience integrating systems, especially with Workday • Relevant financial planning and budgeting experience within a high-growth company is a plus • Must possess excellent analytical, financial modeling and presentation skills with the ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations • Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, and passionate person who understands the importance of being the lead for the Operating Expense function • Ability and desire to roll up sleeves and be hands-on in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, high-growth environment • A strong passion for the Acorns mission • Thirst for delivering game-changing products • Exceptional drive and precision; strong attention to detail • A belief that your work is tied to your life's mission • Optimistic about the potential of societal change • Basic understanding of the fintech landscape is a plus
