•As the Director, Marketing Strategy & Planning, you will work in direct partnership with the CMO and the Marketing Leadership team to drive strong cross-functional partnerships and performance through the development and implementation of critical marketing planning processes, operating rhythms, and reporting cadences - ultimately driving accountability and success. •This role will be a key leader of our marketing leadership team reporting directly to ActiveCampaign’s CMO. This role is ultimately responsible for driving the effective operationalization of our marketing strategy and annual plans. You will help to develop and steer strategic programs, develop and own marketing operating rhythms, and the corresponding processes to drive performance and success for marketing.
•12+ Years in Marketing and/or related experience, with 6+ years in people leadership •SaaS Experience •Bias to action with an ability to operate with unknown factors •Builder and operator mentality MarTech or adjacent industry experience preferred •Expert communications skills across all mediums, and with all levels of the organization •Proven success in planning, developing, and executing quarterly and annual marketing plans •Ability to drive a mentality of continuous optimization, growth, and performance throughout the team and cross-functionally •Proven success in operationalizing market strategies •Both agency side and client side experience is preferred
