Description

• Develop and execute forward-thinking financial strategies to enhance performance and scalability • Create scalable financial systems and implement advanced technologies (e.g., forecasting tools, ERP systems) • Establish finance as the central point of accurate financial data, ensuring other departments align with financial realities • Establish robust risk management frameworks to protect the company’s financial health and ensure compliance with regulations • Lead financial transformation initiatives, managing cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions on time • Identify opportunities to streamline financial operations in alignment with growth objectives • Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a collaborative environment across departments • Translate complex financial data into actionable insights for stakeholders, facilitating cooperation across teams

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years in a Director or CFO role within e-commerce, particularly with physical goods • Strong understanding of U.S. financial regulations, GAAP, and tax laws • Capable of cooperating with US-based financial experts • Demonstrated ability to support companies scaling from $20 million to $100 million in revenue • Proficient in selecting and implementing advanced financial systems (e.g., ERP systems, forecasting tools) • Strong background in data analysis, capable of building real-time financial dashboards and utilizing macros or databases for improved financial reporting • Ability to implement robust risk prevention mechanisms to protect the company's financial health • Hands-on experience transitioning from dropshipping to an inventory-based model and modeling inventory forecasting and management scenarios • Background in both finance and operations is a significant advantage • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; an MBA with a focus on Finance, Innovation, or Entrepreneurship is a plus
