📋 Description

• Provide training and technical assistance to nonprofit advocates • Develop resources for grassroots groups and connect with organizations for positive policy change • Engage in legislative and executive branch advocacy • Manage and develop state law resources • Write legal guides and other resources for nonprofits • Conduct training for nonprofit organizations • Lead policy advocacy efforts including lobbying • Draft briefs, regulatory comments, and statutory language • Represent the organization at conferences • Manage grants and contracts

🎯 Requirements

• Law degree and bar membership in at least one state • At least ten years of legal experience or legal advocacy with nonprofit organizations • Commitment to social justice causes • Understanding of nonprofit organization operations and the progressive nonprofit sector • Experience with grassroots advocacy campaigns, GOTV work, and community organizing • Strong networking and outreach skills • Experience conducting training programs and public speaking • Ability to network and build relationships with nonprofits
