Description

• This is an in-house counsel role in Corporate Litigation. • Managing lawsuits and other legal disputes. • Interviewing and retaining law firms/outside counsel. • Developing strategies for assigned matters. • Serving as strategic legal partner to business. • Internally overseeing the discovery process. • Preparing and reviewing settlement agreements. • Actively participating in cross-functional teams. • Preparing and presenting various internal and external reports.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited institution and active state bar license in good standing. • 7+ years of hands-on complex litigation experience, including trials and class actions. • Motivated self-starter with legal acumen and business knowledge. • Collaborative team player. • Ability to communicate views effectively, verbally and in writing. • Leadership experience on multifaceted projects. • Strong client service orientation.
