📋 Description

• We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineering Manager to join, support, manage, and help grow a group of high performing product engineers at Alma. • You will lead the Payer Expansion & Claim Submission team which is focused on fulfilling Alma’s contracts, integrating with new insurance payers and successfully submitting claims each month on behalf of our mental health therapists. • You will aim to help therapists gain the confidence and understanding they need to successfully run their private practice. • On this scaling team, you will have a strong hand in defining Alma's features, services, and architecture.

🎯 Requirements

• You have 3-5 years of backend engineering experience, with 2-4 years of people management experience, and 3+ years of combined tech leadership and people management. • You’ve previously led and/or managed multiple teams at once. • You clearly communicate expectations, provide regular feedback, coach team members towards their growth and development goals, and make insights and recommendations to improve the overall career development process for the entire engineering organization. • You are a mentor to individual contributors of different seniority levels and expertise as well as other engineering managers in your domain. • You possess a clear and engaging communication style with a track record of building positive relationships across a broad diverse organization. • You have a demonstrable history of shipping user-facing products. • You feel a passion for Alma's mission – to improve the experience of therapy for providers and their clients, and simplify access to care.
