Description

• The Director is accountable for managing the firm’s financial depository client relationships. • Serve as the primary relationship manager for depository clients, ensuring that all client needs are thoroughly understood and addressed • Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key client stakeholders • Work closely with ALM First's specialized teams to design and implement customized, risk-adjusted strategies that align with each client's goals and risk appetite • Present strategies to client boards and ALCOs and engage in discussions with key personnel • Regularly assess and monitor clients' balance sheet performance, providing strategic advice to enhance financial outcomes. • Help clients navigate complex financial landscapes by advising on capital allocation, risk management, and hedging strategies • Contribute to the firm's thought leadership by producing research articles, webinars, and presentations that enhance ALM First's brand and provide valuable insights to clients • Represent the firm at national industry conferences and events • Maintain and expand market knowledge to discuss and educate clients on changes in the market and economy • Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities for new products and services that meet evolving client needs and market demands

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a depository-focused, client-facing role within the financial services industry • Expertise in fixed-income valuation is preferred • Demonstrated financial expertise with the ability to convert complex financial data into effective, actionable strategies • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proven ability to engage and educate clients effectively • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and understanding client needs • A collaborative team player who can work effectively with cross-functional teams and foster a culture of innovation and excellence • A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, math, or a related field is required; An advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed, with a commitment to maintaining regular, personal contact with clients (up to 30% travel)
