• Responsible for securing and growing major gifts • Build philanthropic partnerships with individuals and foundations • Identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward supporters • Works as a partner to field-based Development staff • Manages relationships with major donors • Collaborate with Sr. Director on fundraising strategies and goals
• Bachelor’s Degree (BA) from a four-year college or university is required • Five (5) or more years of major gift experience or related field • A self-starter with strong communication skills • Ability to successfully engage with a diverse staff and range of donors, volunteers, and community members • Collaboration skills are required to partner with field Development colleagues involved in the achievement of Territory revenue goals • Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills • Commitment to equity and inclusion with an inherent drive to work and collaborate with diverse populations • Ability to work with flexibility in a dynamic team environment and embrace organizational change • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms is preferred • Commitment to learn and utilize new technologies to improve efficiency and implement strategy • Proven track record of closing gifts and meeting fundraising goals • Possess integrity, maturity and ethical awareness; ability to handle sensitive information and maintain strict confidentiality.
