Description

• Altarum’s Community Health Practice Area is seeking a Project Coordinator to support multiple projects focused on maternal and child health. • The successful candidate will provide support that includes notetaking for client and team meetings; scheduling and coordinating meetings, webinars, and membership and events; coordinating consultant agreements and travel arrangements; and other project administrative duties. This position requires excellent organizational skills, verbal and written communication, and attention to detail. During your career at Altarum you will work on many projects and your specific tasks and responsibilities will vary across projects, with the potential for career advancement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 1-3 years of project coordination experience • Experience with coordinating and notetaking for meetings, trainings, and virtual events; scheduling internal and external meetings for project teams; and coordinating consultant agreements and travel arrangements • Experience coordinating and facilitating virtual meetings; experience with Zoom and Microsoft Teams preferred • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and ability to utilize SharePoint and other online communication tools • Excellent critical and analytical thinking, willingness to step into new roles, strong communication skills, team-focused mentality, and a commitment to continuously learning and improving • Interest and experience with maternal and child health • Knowledge of approaches for engagement of community members and persons with lived experience, preferred • Ability to travel and provide Technical Assistance event coordination on-site, as needed
