Description

• Alto Pharmacy is seeking a Senior Accountant to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance • Responsible for preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and updating accounting memos • Prepare financial and regulatory reports, monitor debt covenants, and assist with tax filings • Focus on complex areas such as equity, debt, tax, and revenue recognition

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 4 years in public accounting, preferably with exposure to SEC reporting or technical accounting roles • Strong proficiency in US GAAP, with deep experience in equity accounting, debt accounting, tax, revenue recognition, and accounting for complex transactions • Experience with accounting software such as Sage Intacct or NetSuite. Advanced skills in GSuite, Excel, and other financial analysis tools • Experience in public accounting (e.g., Senior Accountant, Senior Auditor) with involvement in GAAP compliance and presenting findings to management is highly desirable • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred • Strong ability to conduct flux analysis, identify trends and discrepancies, and propose effective solutions • Proven track record of working with multiple departments to provide financial insights and improve processes • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment is a plus
