📋 Description
• Responsible for leadership and management of centralized Subcontracts Team • Report to the Director of Procurement • Develop strategies for compliance and quality • Lead team of Subcontract Administrators • Ensure subcontract acquisitions are in the best interest of AMERICAN SYSTEMS • Support Documentations and determinations per CPSR approved system • Mentor and build capabilities of team members • Engage in change management and procurement processes • Manage acquisition lifecycle phases including special circumstances • Gather and review documentation for negotiations • Maintain knowledge of AMERICAN SYSTEMS’ procurement policies • Create and interpret metric data for anticipatory strategies • Manage performance including hiring, promotions, and development
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 10 years procurement experience required • Or an additional 5 years of procurement experience in lieu of degree • Strong understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) • Minimum 8 years Subcontract experience in U.S. Government “CPSR” approved environment • 4 years proven leadership experience leading high performing teams • Strong negotiation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills • Experience with Deltek Costpoint, ERP System • Background check required
