Description

• Support the Corporate Governance Director and Strategic Planning & Operations Director within Amgen’s Worldwide Compliance and Business Ethics department. • Ensure timely execution and improvement of corporate compliance governance processes. • Manage preparations for Corporate Responsibility and Compliance Committee meetings. • Handle and manage corporate governance data, including user access and permissions. • Provide operational support to Amgen’s Chief Compliance Officer, including planning and project management. • Coordinate internal and external presentation development, including for the CCO.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree • Master’s degree and 2 years of Healthcare Compliance, Legal, and/or Business experience • Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of Healthcare Compliance, Legal, and/or Business experience • Associate’s degree and 8 years of Healthcare Compliance, Legal, and/or Business experience • High school diploma / GED and 10 years of Healthcare Compliance, Legal, and/or Business experience • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and communication and collaboration platforms/tools such as Smartsheet, MS Teams, SharePoint, and Concur • Experience working in biopharmaceutical industry and possesses a working understanding of compliance risk areas • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including writing formal documents for senior leader audiences and comfort using data to tell stories • Ability to liaise with, influence and manage cross-functional and external partners at multiple levels of seniority • Ability to adapt and be flexible • Maintain an entrepreneurial mind-set, taking ownership over the risks and processes you identify for improvement and searching for creative solutions • Serve as a focal point of contact for assigned projects and build strong partnership with stakeholders • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment • Ability to manage competing priorities, manage multiple initiatives or tasks, and track / report status of assignments and activities • Ability to maintain strict confidentially and to demonstrate discretion when handling sensitive information
