• Doctorate degree and 2 years of corporate communications experience • Or Master’s degree and 4 years of corporate communications experience • Or Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of corporate communications experience • Or Associate’s degree and 10 years of corporate communications experience • Or High school diploma / GED and 12 years of corporate communications experience • Five or more years of experience with staff engagement, culture building and internal communications including using internal and external channels • 3-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry in communications, or HR staff engagement • Demonstrated proficiency working directly with executive management, including the ability to advise, influence and coach on communication strategies around potentially sensitive issues • Excellent interpersonal skills; enthusiastic teammate and self-starter; serious commitment to hard work and excellence • Outstanding written and oral communication skills; ability to distill complex issues and information into simple, compelling, and relevant messages • Change management experience • Experience setting up two-way channels to open communication lines, create dialogue and ensure messages are reaching staff at all levels • Diverse experience in strategic communications, internal communications, business communication, Journalism or related field • Exceptional storytelling experience
