• The Vice President of Marketing is responsible for developing and executing strategic demand generation, brand, and messaging initiatives to drive top-of-funnel opportunity development and position the organization as the best-in-class AI edtech leader. • This role emphasizes creating and nurturing brand awareness, generating leads through multiple channels, and functioning in service of revenue creation. • The VP of Marketing leads the marketing team and collaborates with other departments to ensure alignment with the company's growth goals. • Develop and implement comprehensive demand generation strategies to drive lead acquisition and top-of-funnel growth. • Conduct market research, analyze trends and incorporate the latest technology to identify new opportunities for customer acquisition. • Define and oversee the marketing budget, focusing on high-impact demand generation activities. • Design and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns (e.g., digital marketing, content marketing, events) to generate qualified leads. • Optimize the use of marketing automation (Hubspot) and CRM systems (Salesforce) to track and nurture leads. • Measure and analyze the effectiveness of demand generation campaigns, adjusting strategies to maximize ROI.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred. • Proven experience in a senior marketing role, preferably as a Marketing Director or Vice President of Marketing • Experience in the K-12 edtech industry a must-have • Staying power: Greater than 2 years' average tenure over the course of career and at least 1 job with 4+ years • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. • Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills, with a focus on demand generation. • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and techniques. • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. • Experience with budgeting and financial management. • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
