Description

• The Executive Director, Marketing will lead the development and execution of marketing strategies targeted at healthcare professionals. • This role is critical in driving awareness, adoption, and advocacy of Annexon’s therapies among key healthcare stakeholders. • The position requires a strategic marketer with deep experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry, particularly in HCP engagement and education. • Responsibilities include developing and executing a comprehensive HCP marketing strategy, leading multi-channel marketing campaigns, driving engagement with healthcare professionals, overseeing compliant marketing content, managing relationships with key opinion leaders, collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting market research, ensuring compliance with regulations, managing the marketing budget, and leading a team of marketing professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Life Sciences, or a related field. • A minimum of 12+ years of experience in biotech or pharmaceutical industry, with at least 5 years in HCP Marketing role. • Deep knowledge of HCP marketing, including strategies for engagement, education, and KOL management. • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to HCP marketing in the biotech/pharma industry. • Excellent leadership and team management skills. • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. • Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills. • Proficiency in marketing tools and technologies, including CRM and analytics platforms. • An advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MPH) is preferred. • Experience with specialty and rare disease therapies is highly desirable.
