• The Account Manager is the client’s main point of contact. • Actively manage existing client relationships with Airline, Cruise Line and Hotel partners. • Responsible for maximizing existing API accounts to expand market/wallet share. • Oversee direction of existing accounts while ensuring a seamless approach to destination sourcing. • Conduct hotel site inspections and negotiate hotel contracts. • Manage crew member feedback and ensure hotels are loaded accurately in the system. • Ensure all revenue opportunities and contracts are documented in the CRM. • Maintain and understand client’s business to ensure deliverables are being met. • Collaborate with Business Development for smooth client transitions.
• Established (at least 5 years) of experience in the travel industry and working closely with hotels is a must • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales and marketing or related field • Ability to effectively manage work load in a fast paced atmosphere relying on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. • Shows attention to detail and the ability to produce high quality work • Ability to positively present API in customer facing situations • Strong Microsoft Office computer skills, with emphasis on Excel • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills • Customer service and client relationship skills • Ability to work with and understand diverse cultures here and abroad • An organized self-starter who can work proactively and independently • Able to multi task and work well under strict deadlines and fast paced environment • Flexible schedule and limited travel availability needed based on business needs.
