Description

• We are seeking a Legal Operations Manager to join the Apogee legal team. • In this newly created role, you will be the central point of contact managing the contract request process at Apogee. • As a face of the legal department, you will work with all functions across the company and administer the contract management system. • Additionally, you will provide operational support to members of the legal department. • Strong customer service skills and willingness to assist employees with the contract process will be key to success in this role.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of paralegal and legal operations experience at a top law firm and/or in-house, preferably providing corporate and transactional legal support to companies in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and/or healthcare or life sciences industries • Undergraduate degree and/or Paralegal certification required • Must have experience with contract management systems, Agiloft strongly preferred • Experience working with publicly traded companies a plus • Mature and professional demeanor with a high degree of self-motivation and high level of business acumen • Outstanding communication skills, ability to communicate complex issues clearly and succinctly, relationship-building and influencer skills • Independent judgment, attention to detail, a desire to learn, and an ability to take on and prioritize a wide variety of complex matters while meeting tight deadlines • Self-motivated, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure and to manage the expectations of internal clients • Position requires 10% travel to company and functional meetings
