📋 Description

• This is a remote position. • Aquarius Strategies has been retained to recruit a Nurse Case Manager to support case coordination, patient advocacy, and surgical care management within the organization's Center of Excellence (COE) program. • This role is integral to ensuring patients receive high-quality, well-coordinated medical care through their expert physician network and COE facilities. • The Nurse Case Manager will work closely with patients, physicians, and enterprise clients to manage cases, schedule surgical consultations, coordinate preoperative and postoperative care, and facilitate expert second opinions. • This role is ideal for a highly organized, patient-focused nurse with experience in case management, telehealth, and surgical care coordination.

🎯 Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN/LPN) license (active and in good standing). • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in case management, surgical care coordination or orthopedic healthcare • Strong knowledge of surgical care pathways, medical record review, and healthcare documentation. • Experience working in insurance, managed care, or workers’ compensation environments preferred. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong focus on patient advocacy and education. • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams. • Certified Case Manager (CCM), Nurse Case Manager (NCM), or equivalent certification is highly desirable. • Bilingual in English/Spanish (preferred). • Familiarity with surgical scheduling, preauthorization processes, and postoperative follow-up protocols.
