• A Senior Business Development Manager at Argano plays a key role in executing and shaping the overall business development strategy. • Their primary responsibility is to identify and engage potential mid to large-size prospect clients of various industries while introducing them to Argano's business and technology services. • This position involves supporting multiple teams/projects, supporting complex sales prospecting and sales cycle opportunities while contributing to the organization's long-term growth. • The Senior Business Development Manager focuses on generating net new discussions with prospect accounts with a strong focus of identifying new revenue streams through proven sales best practices which are key initiatives and activities to build the Argano brand with strategic collaboration of Sales, Marketing, Partner Alliances and Business Development. • Support the development and management of overarching business development strategies with sales and business development leaders. • Collaborate with senior leadership to align business development goals with organizational objectives. • Provide strategic input into product and service offerings based on market feedback. • Drive continuous improvement in lead generation processes. • Proper management of account mapping and data mining of target prospect accounts. • Conduct outbound cold calls to prospective clients to generate leads and opportunities. • Qualify leads based on established criteria and initiate follow-up actions. • Conduct market research and identify potential clients. • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align outreach efforts with overall strategies. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospect lead interactions in the CRM system. • Assist with drafting business plans, sales pitches, presentations, reference material, and other documents as required. • Maintain corporate alignment and collaboration with Business Development and Sales Leadership for a shared vision and overall execution of business development strategies. • Accurately manage and execute the rules of engagement for proper alignment and collaboration across Sales, Marketing, Partner Alliances and Business Development Team. • Manage the reporting of all business development KPI's for team score carding and sales metrics. • Ongoing review of our highest performing lead sources which convert leads into sales opportunities. • Ongoing review of our highest performing sales activities which generate the most sales opportunities. • Continuous execution of business development best practices and automated sales solutions. • Support and help manage the execution of sales enablement tools such as ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, Phone Dialers, and Salesforce CRM, etc. • Help train and onboard new hires with supporting them though Argano trainings. • Support and help manage the New Hire Onboarding Strategy and Career Growth Plans for team. • Collaborate with Business Development, Marketing Leaders, and Sales Leaders to organize sales scripts, sales plays, strategic talk tracts and BANT qualification questionnaires which will help generate more sales opportunities and higher conversion rates for overall revenue growth at Argano.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, expected. • Master's degree or PhD in computer science or software engineering preferred. • 5-8 years of experience in business development or outbound sales. • Proven success in driving revenue growth through strategic initiatives. • Strong understanding of market dynamics and technology services. • Highly experienced with Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Office Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Outreach.io • Mentoring and training junior team members. Providing guidance on complex lead generation and sales prospecting scenarios. • Seasoned strategic thinker with a track record of shaping and executing high-level business development strategies. • Analytical skills to assess industry trends, market dynamics, competitor activities, and potential opportunities. Adapting strategies based on market changes and the capability to translate market insights into actionable strategies. • Developing and implementing strategic plans for business development. Setting and achieving sales targets and goals. • Strong skills in cold calling, emailing, and other proactive outreach methods. Ability to effectively communicate value propositions to build initial interest for new qualified opportunities. • Ability to stay updated on industry trends and competitive offerings. • Proficient in identifying and qualifying new sales leads. • Strong negotiation skills to close deals and partnerships. Managing contract negotiations and agreements. • Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Ability to handle multiple prospects and deals simultaneously. • Collaborate with marketing and other teams to align efforts and strategies. • Ability to handle rejection and persist in the face of challenges.
