β’ Weβre looking for a driven, organized, and experienced Account Executive to help us grow our air and ocean volumes with-in your region. β’ Youβll have a greenfield opportunity to help grow our portfolio of customers. β’ You will leverage your knowledge and experience as you partner with several operations teams across the US. β’ Important step: Please ensure you send a cover letter with your application. Applications with out a cover letter will not be considered. β’ Please ensure that you have relevant experience and have worked in sales at a global freight forwarding company. β’ You will: Proactively consult with clients and develop solutions for their logistics needs β’ Communicate the value of Ardent through remote and in person meetings with client executives β’ Develop and execute a plan to build pipeline from new and existing customers in your territory β’ Engage with stakeholders from other departments at Ardent Global to develop client-specific solutions β’ Coordinate and negotiate annual RFPs β’ Collaborate with Ardent Global βs client operations teams to identify upsell opportunities, source pipeline, and develop strategic account plans
β’ 7-10 years of experience in a customer facing sales/business development role at a leading international freight forwarder β’ At least 5 years designing solutions for Global Key Accounts β’ Competitive and creative drive to win over customers and think outside the box to get a deal done β’ Demonstrated ability to run a sales meeting and structured sales process β’ Proven success building and maintaining long term commercial relationships β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience presenting to C-level executives β’ A passion for pursuing new and bold ideas within the context of business priorities β’ The ability to quickly identify, prioritize, and execute tasks to meet critical project deadlines β’ Experience problem-solving within multi-faceted and complex systems β’ Experience negotiating with third-party providers of products and services β’ An obsession with client happiness.
