β’ Primary responsibility is to build & maintain influential relationships with customers, suppliers and Richardson RFPD partners in energy storage and power conversion applications β’ Key areas of responsibility include demand creation and relationship management focused on technical needs of complex, emerging, or underpenetrated prospects β’ Will drive/create new opportunities and product selection within their accounts, and create demand activity using other technical resources as needed β’ Drive supplier and customer engineering relationships at multiple levels β’ Utilize distribution/rep/supplier knowledge to grow market share and sales β’ Build strong relationships with suppliers and their reps β’ Initiate and schedule regular visits to the customer facility driving new design opportunities and revenue β’ Create selling opportunities through a planned discovery process and strategic approach β’ Executes on solution selling through a working knowledge of Richardson RFPD's supply chain solutions and design processes β’ Guides others in resolving complex issues in specialized area
β’ Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related power electronics sales/field applications experience with a 4-year degree β’ Detailed working experience pertaining to high power components including IGBTs, MOSFETs, electrolytic/film capacitors, supercapacitors and thermal management products β’ Must have a strong understanding of the territory you will be working in β’ Experience in a sales environment, component supplier or distribution channel, preferred β’ Must have working industry knowledge β’ Must have a drive to succeed
