Description

• We are seeking an Integration Engineer with a strong background in third-party integrations to join our SmartBidder team. • As Senior Integration Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth integration of our software with external systems that manage renewable energy assets, interface with energy markets, and provide key data needed to optimize energy market participation. • Additionally, you will provide exceptional client support and insights regarding technical integrations during the onboarding process for new SmartBidder clients, lead testing before go-live, and provide ongoing support for these integrations after go-live.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • 4+ years experience in implementing third-party integrations and/or as a technical sales resource for a software product • Strong proficiency in Python • Extensive experience with data structures and API schemas, including an understanding of API design philosophies and patterns including common communication protocols (SOAP, REST) and data formats (JSON, XML) • Understanding of security requirements of integration work • Tenacity to navigate ambiguity and gather clear requirements from third-parties • Ability to flexibly work on multiple workstreams in parallel based on sometimes tight and shifting client timelines • Familiarity with project management to stay organized and manage, track, and communicate progress internally and externally
