Description

•Ascensus Specialties is a leading provider of specialty chemicals with a global presence and a strong commitment to innovation and sustainability. •We're seeking a Technical Marketing Manager to work collaboratively across multiple teams to achieve company growth objectives while championing a sustainable growth strategy. •In collaboration with the technology organization, you will be globally responsible for establishing and leading Ascensus’ sustainable growth strategy for assigned areas. •You will be responsible for developing the marketing and commercial information required to identify, select, prioritize, and ultimately execute our growth strategy. •This role will also lead the commercial development for new frontier technology programs and coach and mentor colleagues and executives on existing and new technology value propositions. •Additionally, you will support the analysis of potential acquisitions and advise the executive team on potential fit and value to the business.

Requirements

•Education: B.S. in Chemistry from an accredited university. •Experience: 10+ years of experience in highly technical marketing development roles, preferably in the life sciences or electronics industries. •Market Analysis: Proven experience identifying customer and market needs, translating them into successful products. •Technology Roadmap Development: Demonstrated ability to translate customer and market insights into an actionable technology roadmap. •M&A Support: Experience in M&A and due diligence processes, with an emphasis on market assessment and evaluation. •Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; comfortable presenting to diverse audiences, including senior executives, technical experts, and external stakeholders. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Strong aptitude for leveraging collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, Salesforce, SharePoint) to drive engagement and deliver results. •Other Essential Skills: Strong project management, organizational, and leadership skills. Familiarity with technology scouting. Strong customer focus. Flexible and innovative approach to problem-solving. Ability to work autonomously and navigate ambiguity. •Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. in Chemistry strongly desired.
