Description

• Oversee day-to-day operations of Global Auto billing and payments team(s). • Responsible for preparation, processing, documentation, control compliance, reporting and delivery of accounting services. • Ensure team meets requirements and maintains effective controls and processes. • Liaison between internal and external stakeholders regarding performance and quality metrics. • Participate in functional and enterprise projects and maintain relations with business segments, stakeholders and customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, related field or equivalent experience preferred • Minimum of 5 years of general accounting experience including accounting systems and related control processes • Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite • Experience working with accounting systems, specifically billing and payments • Understanding of variety of progressive accounting practices and procedures • Working knowledge of regulatory requirements (i.e. GAAP, MAR, SOX, audits) • Problem analysis and resolution at a functional level; critical thinking skills • Detailed and results oriented • Experience working and building effective relationships in a multi-site, multi-function environment with the complexities of meeting the diverse needs of multiple business lines • Experience leading cross functional teams and promoting collaboration and teamwork • Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure and perform in a fast paced environment • Ability to identify critical tasks and resources necessary to achieve desired objectives • Strong organizational abilities with a high level of written and interpersonal communications skills in order to communicate effectively with various levels of management and staff personnel • Commitment to company values • Ability to influence peers within accounting, segment and outsourcing partner • Proficient in Agile project methodology • Minimum of 2 years of billing and payments experience preferred • Minimum of 2 years working in a shared services environment preferred • Minimum of 1 year working with outsourcing partners preferred • CPA or CMA, preferred • Travel up to 5%
