Description

• Set the overarching creative vision for athenahealth, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market positioning. • Inspire, mentor, and lead a diverse team of creative and content professionals. • Collaborate with key stakeholders to tell the story of athenahealth in new and unexpected ways. • Oversee the content studio which serves as the engine for creating quality content, at scale. • Streamline and improve creative processes to enhance efficiency, alignment, and collaboration across teams. • Manage team logistics including hiring processes, budget oversight, and capacity planning. • Ensure all work adheres to brand guidelines and strategic objectives. • Build strong partnerships across the organization to creatively fulfill brand and business objectives. • Oversee the development and execution of cross-functional content calendars. • Establish metrics to assess the effectiveness of creative initiatives and content assets over time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. • Master’s degree, or an additional advanced degree, preferred. • 15+ years of experience in creative roles with at least 10 years in leadership positions managing internal teams, contractors, and external agencies. • Proven track record of managing high-functioning multi-disciplinary creative teams in fast-paced work environments. • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign). • Exceptional communication skills with a strong executive presence; adept at influencing stakeholders at all levels. • A strategic mindset with a focus on leveraging data insights for informed decision-making. • Experience in B2B contexts, preferably within the healthcare sector. • Client side and agency experience preferred. • Self-driven entrepreneurial spirit.
