📋 Description
• The Academic Program Director ensures a quality academic experience for learners • Oversight of curricula quality and rigor • Contributes to excellence in curriculum design/delivery and assessment effectiveness • Coordinate with relevant faculty directors • Acts as a liaison to other departments • Spearhead development and revision of academic offerings • Ensure compliance with academic programmatic accreditation
🎯 Requirements
• 2 years of experience as an academic program director in a social work doctoral program required • Minimum of two years of practice experience post MSW degree conferral required • Demonstrated contribution to the discipline including publishing, committee involvement, or professional association involvement required • A minimum of 5 years teaching in an accredited program or related field; online higher education teaching experience preferred • Significant experience in supervisory/leadership responsibilities for faculty including recruitment, retention, performance results and development • Significant experience managing and working with remote teams and a matrix environment preferred • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs • Ability to travel as required/needed
