• Avantor is looking for a dynamic Sales Representative professional to optimize the Cleveland, Ohio market. • This role will be field-based and require daily face-to-face sales efforts in supporting the Greater Cleveland market. • The Sales Representative will work closely within the sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company business strategy.

Requirements

• College/University (4-year) degree, or equivalent work experience, required • Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in a complex sales environment is required • Experience with dynamic, multi-collaborative purchasing decision and there is a solution based selling approach • A proven track record of verifiable sales success driving growth with a consultative, strategic selling approach • Business-to-business (B2B) sales experience • CRM experience is required • Demonstrated capability to effectively utilize best in class selling processes (e.g. SPIN, Challenger, Miller Heiman) • Microsoft Office experience required, with preference for technology platform experience such as Salesforce, C4C, and/or Qlikview • Science or Medical Technology background • Preferred sales experience within the Pharmaceutical, BioPharma, Industrial industries • Distribution experience • Prior or current work in a laboratory or research environment • Willingness to travel to customer locations
