•Who are we? •AvantStay delivers world class, authentic, tech-enabled short-term rental (“STR”) group experiences targeted at the millennial generation. We are venture funded and growing rapidly in the explosive $100+ billion dollar STR industry. We deliver a customized end-to-end experience that is tailored just for groups and powered with technology at every layer. •What we are looking for... •AvantStay is looking for a Manager to join our Revenue Management team. Optimizing revenue management and dynamic pricing practices is central to our continued success as we grow into new markets and increase the number of properties in our portfolio each month. •You have experience managing a team in the function of revenue management or related areas and you love complex problem-solving. You are passionate about hospitality and are excited about finding creative revenue management solutions and leading and mentoring a team through optimizing revenue strategies. You are comfortable working cross-functionally with a small but growing team that requires a high degree of autonomy, flexibility, and the ability to think on your feet.
•Must be willing & able to work US business hours •5+ years of experience in revenue management or related fields. •2+ years of experience in managing a team of 5 or more employees, ideally including global contributors •Experience with pricing within the hospitality and/or travel industries or with an OTA. Experience in the STR industry is a plus. •Experience in data analytics and machine learning (such as SQL, Tableau, Python, Power BI) is required. •Expertise with spreadsheets (Excel, Sheets) is required. •A bachelor's degree or comparable work experience in a quantitative discipline such as economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, or similar field. A master’s degree is preferred but not required.
