• BeatBox Beverages is seeking a seasoned Director of Communications to join our marketing team and help elevate our brand visibility across both consumer-facing and B2B markets. • This role will spearhead public relations and media efforts, ensuring that BeatBox’s voice is strong, consistent, and resonant across all channels. • This individual will serve as a strategic storyteller, a relationship builder, and a guardian of our brand reputation, with a focus on impactful communication strategies that position BeatBox as a leader in the beverage industry. • Develop and implement innovative PR strategies that drive brand awareness and strengthen BeatBox’s position. • Manage media relations, including press releases, to secure positive coverage in key publications. • Identify and secure interview opportunities with top-tier consumer media outlets. • Oversee brand messaging across all external communication platforms. • Cultivate strong relationships with industry influencers, journalists, and advocates. • Organize press events and media tours. • Develop and implement crisis communication plans. • Identify and pitch compelling story ideas. • Create and maintain a media contact database. • Monitor media coverage and industry trends. • Ensure major PR initiatives align with social media messaging and marketing programs. • Work with marketing and creative teams on campaigns, product launches, and event support. • Oversee brand spokesperson training for executives and key team members. • Measure and report PR effectiveness through metrics such as earned media and engagement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. • 7+ years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or a similar field, preferably within the CPG or beverage industry. • Proven experience in managing media relations and crafting impactful PR strategies for high-growth brands. • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas into compelling messages. • Strong crisis management skills and experience serving as a brand spokesperson. • Established network with media, journalists, and industry influencers is a plus. • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. • Proficient in media tracking and PR software; experience in analyzing and reporting on PR metrics.
