Description

• As a Sr Performance Analyst at BECU, you will play a critical role in leveraging analytical tools to extract, transform, and analyze data to create reports, dashboards, and scorecards for the business unit. • Utilize comprehensive knowledge to analyze performance, trends, and conduct root cause and gap analysis in a relatable and conversational manner. • Create and maintain customized dashboards and reporting to effectively manage operational performance. • Work directly with assigned areas to understand their requirements and translate them into conceptual and logical data models. • Manipulate, calculate, and format existing data into visually usable representations to provide actionable insights. • Provide broad analytical and operational support to the business unit in a candidate-centric language. • Perform analytical studies on trends and performance, utilize BECU systems for complex analysis, and support strategic assessments and plans.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related quantitative field, or equivalent work experience. • Minimum 5 years of experience in data mining, query development, or multi-system data integration. • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial institution data analysis and reporting (desired). • Experience with Tableau or Power BI and scripting languages (SQL, SAS, Python, R, etc.) (desired). • Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and solid time management skills. • Ability to gather pertinent data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions, as well as formulate ideas and recommendations.
