Description

• The Payment Operations Business Analyst (internally titled Product Operations Business Analyst) is a pivotal role at Billtrust, responsible for supporting and delivering innovative, disruptive products. • This position works cross-functionally with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) engineers and acts as the expert on the product's data footprint. • The role involves collaborating with internal teams to identify and implement improvements, automation, and scaling opportunities, while also providing support to both internal and external customers.

Requirements

• Experience in payment operations, specific to a merchant acquiring role; 2+ years of relevant experience preferred. • Experience with credit card and/or bank payment processing or other high-volume payment flows is required. • Proficiency in utilizing business intelligence visualization tools. • Experience in querying, analyzing, and working with data languages and platforms. • Experience maintaining PCI compliance following policies, standards, and procedures. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail. • Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate effectively leveraging effective time management skills. • Preferred experience with SQL queries and familiarity with data file types like CSV, delimited, and XML. • Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience; 2+ years of relevant experience preferred. • Demonstrated experience using data to solve problems and provide business insights. • Strong communication and organizational skills. • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and workflow processes. • Proven ability to prioritize work based on customer needs, delivery dates, and complexity in a dynamic environment. • Ability to manage expectations and deadlines with internal and external clients through scheduling, communication, escalation, and risk analysis. • Entrepreneurial mindset with a results-driven attitude. • Prior scripting or programming experience is preferred.
