Description

• Responsible for expanding and optimizing data pipeline architecture and infrastructure. • Support software developers, data analysts, scientists, and ML Engineers on data initiatives. • Design and implement data delivery pipelines. • Create and maintain optimal data platforms for ingesting various datasets. • Identify and implement internal process improvements. • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions aligned with business goals. • Create technical documentation, including data flow diagrams and architecture designs. • Stay up-to-date with industry trends related to data engineering.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience building data platforms/data backends. • 5+ years of experience working with Python. • Experience building and optimizing ‘big data’ data pipelines with Spark. • Familiar with best practices in building CVML pipelines. • Strong analytic skills related to unstructured datasets. • Working knowledge of message queuing and stream processing. • Experience supporting cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment. • Familiar with relational SQL, NoSQL databases, and data pipeline platforms like Airflow. • Experience with AWS cloud services: EC2, RDS DBs, and Terraform. • Strong problem-solving and communication skills. • Attention to detail in producing high-quality code.
