β€’ The Controller is responsible for all general accounting activities including payroll, financial reporting, and closing activities. β€’ The Controller maintains the integrity of the accounting system and provides training and support to staff. β€’ This position also provides clear and effective planning, project management, and supervises accounting staff and manages vendors.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ Bachelors degree in accounting or related field, plus 5 years related work experience, or a combination of education and experience β€’ CPA is beneficial but not required β€’ Five (5) years relevant nonprofit or philanthropy accounting experience, including enforcing financial policies β€’ Three (3) years of previous supervisory experience β€’ Experience using and managing cloud based accounting software and integrations; experience with Intacct, Bill.com, and Salesforce strongly preferred β€’ Strong understanding of GAAP and nonprofit accounting principles β€’ Experience using systems and tools such as Zoom, Google Suite, Slack, Asana
